Producing Passionate Disciples of Jesus Christ

The goal of the student ministry at Raymond Road is to make disciples. God does the saving, but he commands us to accept the Great Commission. Our prayer is that through fellowship, service opportunities, and in-depth studies of God's word you will come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are committed to stretching students' comfort zones to experience what ministry is all about. The Lord's hand has been on this ministry. We are excited about what he will do next!

The motto for our student ministry is the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo Gloria," which means "To give God all the glory." The RRBC Student Ministry seeks to give God all the glory by doing the following things...

BIBLE STUDY: This is a time each Sunday from 9:00 until 10:00 that is dedicated to increasing the biblical knowledge of our students and to help them grow spiritually. The classes are divided into four areas: grades 7-8; grades 9-10; grades 11-12; College and Career.

WORSHIP ON WEDNESDAY: Each Wednesday at 6:15 we meet for worship. This is a place to be fed the Word of God. During this time we have worship along with special speakers. This is not your traditional service; we have a high-energy explosion in which we praise and worship God!

CHRIST'S CAFE: Every Sunday at 6:00 pm we gather together for fellowship as a student ministry and study Scripture in a deeper way so that the students can learn how to be better disciples of Christ.

MISSIONS: We have always loved doing the work of the Lord and found missions to be the most spiritually maturing activity you can be a part of. Over the past several years the student ministry has done a specific mission project each year in cities such as Amarillo and New Orleans. We are also involved in Bible Clubs in downtown Jackson.

OTHER ACTIVITIES: Throughout the year, we keep ourselves busy with many different and varied activities. Here are a few:
     Paintball...
     Lock-Ins...
     Harvest Carnival for children...
     Super Bowl Sundays...
"Weekend in the World" Bible studies...
     DiscipleNow...
     Many more!
